LIFTER BORE MEASURING KIT
A set of precision ground steel balls allow quick, easy and accurate measurement of lifter bore diameter and bore roundness with no/go gauge measuring balls.
When the lifter to lifter bore clearance is properly matched up the engine is much quieter and the lifters and valvetrain much happier.
Feuling recommends a lifter to lifter bore clearance of 0.001 - 0.0015 for optimum lifter performance. The closer the clearance is to 0.001 the better the lifter will operate due to increased oil pressure at the lifter. Feuling offers oversized RACE LIFTERS in +0.001 and 0.0015 diameters which can be used to tighten up loose lifter bores.
The lifter to lifter bore measurement can be documented on the customer work order and be an additional service offered by the engine builder.
Kit includes ball sizes: 0.8430, 0.8435, 0.8440, 0.8445, 0.8450

Qualified Manufacturer Declared Replacement Part means any aftermarket part intended to replace an original equipment emissions related part and which is functionally identical to the original equipment part in all respects which in any way affect emissions (including durability), or a consolidated part, that has been evaluated and declared by the manufacturer to meet this definition and carry this categorization and designation label.
